GRASS FED, NUTRITIONAL GOODNESS
When comparing New Zealand soured milk to milk from other countries there are often significant differences between the natural environment in which cows are farmed and the feed systems used.
The environment and the feed systems has an impact on the physical structure and chemical attributes of milk. The feed determines the salts, mineral, ions, elements profile of the milk.
Pāmu milk is provided by cows that have access to fresh grass throughout the year. This is possible because the New Zealand climate is idyllic for farming and enables fresh grass to grow year round. Grass fed cows can provide up to five times more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and vitamin A and E compared to grain fed milk with absolutely no artificial additives or preservatives.
